Selinsgrove, PA — Selinsgrove Borough Councilman Shane Hendricks’ son, Noah (18), has found himself caught up in a recent Marijuana robbery. The High School student is accused of not only supplying the weapons used to rip off a Susquehanna University student dealer, but also of being the getaway man and using a fake penis device to pass a urine analysis test.
Court records show that Noah Charles Hendricks has been charged with Possessing an Instrument of a Crime, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Selinsgrove Police have indicated that more charges are likely.
Using a warrant filed by the Selinsgrove Police Department, officers led by Chief Thomas Garlock retrieved weapons, a phone, and material believed to be marijuana from Noah Hendricks’ residence, the home of his parents Shane and Christi. The warrant was necessary because they weren’t allowed in on the first try.
Snyder County Probation officer Kevin Solomon first went seeking the phone after administering a urine analysis to Noah Hendricks on October 19th at the Selinsgrove School District campus. Solomon caught Hendricks attempting to use a Wizzinator, a fake penis designed to appear as though someone is peeing naturally. Solomon seized the device and requested to see Hendricks phone. Hendricks claimed he left it at home.
Christi Hendricks, a former Selinsgrove School District teacher, refused officers entry when they first arrived. After failing to produce her son’s phone officers searched Noah Hendricks’ bedroom finding a 9mm round of ammunition. Christi Hendricks then demanded that the officers leave. They returned with a warrant.
Noah was apparently sold out by his accomplices according to police records. Juvan Batts (19) and Lamont R. Patterson (19), suspects in the crime and currently being held awaiting preliminary hearings, informed police of Hendricks’ involvement. Rasheed Hill (20), who was also arrested and confessed to his involvement, provided his phone to police. Records indicated that evidence from the phone connects the young men to not only the robbery at Susquehanna, but also another at Clarion University. Hendricks is accused by his alleged accomplices as supplying the weapons for both robberies.
For his part Noah Hendricks is alleged to have received 3 ounces of weed, 2 for participating in the getaway and another ounce in trade with Batts for 100 Xanex pills. A Snyder County area resident with knowledge of the local black market gave a street value for the weed Hendricks received at $750-$900 and the pills at $3-$5 per pill. “It depends if the SU kid was selling schwag or kind bud, but realistically he lost out either way” the source offered. “These kids ruined their lives for a couple hundred bucks.”
